great. I have finally come up with a creative idea and I don't have the equipment to finish it. Well actually all I need is a leather sewing needle but of course I havent been paid for work trials.

I am really keen to finish this piece and upload it to deviantART. It's recycled as well.
So hopefully I will have the needle ASAP and will be able to show everyone my creative little idea.

why hello deviantart.
for some time now you have been the only really creative website that I have looked to for inspiration and guidance. That was until I discovered the wonderful world of blogging.
For a long time I thought that blogging as stupid; I mean who would really want to read about what ordinary people have to say?
Of course now I realize that many people achieve small amounts of fame from their blogs and bearing this in mind have started my own. Now I know that I myself am not going to achieve any fame or recognition from my blog but I like the fact that I can write whatever I want on it. I don't want to just be about one thing, I'd rather write about everything. You know, no limitations.
So if you have a blogspot and like reading my ramblings feel free to watch me.
letsmakeoutyeah.blogspot.com/

Okay to other creative mediums; my bedroom. I am so tired of the way it looks. I mean its not a horrible room, I have a bed, desk, sewing table, book case etc. But I guess that's the problem. There's no space, everything cramped and it doesn't have to be. So I've been flicking through magazines, searching the internet and generally scheming.
If you would like to view some of the pictures that I'm thinking of using I am about to put them up on my blogspot.

Regarding sewing, I've done jack since my last post. I have found some great DIY posts from other creative types and might try some out. And if I do yet another post for my blog :)

One small thing I am up to is recycling these cute little jam jars. They are so small and so cute that when i finished my jam I just couldn't throw them away so I have decided that I will make a little decorative piece out of them. I have a few ideas but still debating with myself. And I am always open to suggestions :)

On a more personal note; I really need some form of income. It sucks when i find the most beautiful or inspiring fabrics and I am never able to buy them. If you can't tell that's why I haven't really posted many pieces.

Well once again, thanks to those for reading.
Cheers.

so, omg i am actually working on something at the moment.
bloody breakthrough.

For a while now my creative passion has been dead which majorly sucks.
My friends are starting uni/tafe now so i thought i'd keep my education up to speed by going to my local library and reading up on some of my favourite things.
For a while now i've been dting to read pride, prejudice and zombies but my library didnt have it. They didnt even have any regular Jane Austen.
Then i decided to look for some textile/clothing books to no prevail.
So imma have to drag my ass all the way to Brisbane city library, register for a new library card and hope they have a wider and more helpful range.

okay about this thing i'm working on...
well its my first bag. I had a native american costume from when i was like 10 and thought i should do something with it. I have already used some of the material to make the waist band for my skirt amyyy-xd.deviantart.com/art/re…
I decided to stick with the native american theme. A while ago i bought a chiefs headpiece from a cheap shop to wear for costume parties etc but because of the poor quality all the feathers have fallen off. I still intend to use the main part for the bag. (you'll probably understand what i'm saying better when i put the pictures up because im shit at explaining stuff).

I hope to then continue with my sewing pile (which is getting bigger), and finally getting pictures of my halloween costume!
i have also taken in my "clothes before bros" shirt.
I love it.
i wear it lots.
people make nice comments.
im happy. :D

The friend i gave the voucher to liked both my designs so i'll have to chat to her about that so i can make it, she can wear it and i can share it with deviantart :)

I'm slowly building up my portfolio and have even delved into designing swimwear which hasnt really been an interest on mine until lately.

ooh the other day i was in the city with my friend when she showed me this shop i've never seen before called 'typo'. it's a branch of cotton on but they sell stationary.
i can honestly say i want to buy everything within that stores walls. They have the cutest notebooks, pens, pencils, lamps, pencil cases, wall art etc. I'm gonna buy one of the notebooks to jot down all my creative little thoughts. so cuteee!

I've half started writing a few songs, im not very literate at the moment.
should probs read the dictionary one day :)

regarding further study i had the most brilliant idea.
I shall apply for uni here in brisbane, but seeing as there is only one uni that does my course in the whole of QLD i'm almost screwed if i dont get in.
that was until i realised that the northern hemisphere has different school years to australia so i thought that if i dont get into uni over here then i'll still have time to apply over there.
I'm brilliant x)

well that's enough rambling from me.
and congrats if you've read this far

well all my friends now have their uni preferences sorted out and while they're off being studious i'm going to be home, bored.
So I am being extra diligent and trying to find myself a job.

I did stumble upon one job/traineeship in particular that would be brilliant.
so fingers crossed for that.

Once again I have not taken the pictures of my hallowe'en costume. God i'm lazy x)

I have set myself up with a few artistic projects to keep myself busy though.
1. today I bought a tee-shirt "clothes before bros". Its awesome, i love it, BUT it's a 2XL and I am nowhere near that size. So i am tryna figure out how to alter it best. Singlet? dress? or keep it a shirt? whatever i do i need to make it more fitted so i can wear it out :D
2. I have a growing pile of clothes that i need to alter/fix so i should probably go out get the tools and fix them.
3. I gave my friend a voucher for a free alteration that shes been asking me for for a while. Need to make some designs to hsow her so i can start on that :)
4. i took gap year to get my portfolio and skills perfect so i will be a shoe in for uni, so that takes high priority.
5. i am sick of my bedroom and i definately need to use my creative skills to make it my haven x)
6. and just general creative things. ie start my cosplay costumes.
7. also thinking of exploring new creative mediums like song writing, furniture making, stuff like that.
